super bored. so hey followers, post your desktop! i think it says a lot about someone. i haven’t changed mine since i got my mac, but i’ve been thinking about it.
I almost never even see my desktop because I usually have about 10,000 things open. But my desktop picture is from when I Hollie and I were sitting on the ground in Times Square, trying to figure out what to do after a sadly errant trip to New Jersey. We actually wound up having a great night, so this picture means a lot to me.

This is my new friend, Ginger. I want someone I know to adopt her so I can go cuddle her on the regular. She’s such a sweetheart.

So… the other day UPS tried to deliver a mystery package to me, but no one was there to sign for it. It was already sorted to be returned to sender when I contacted the nice people who run @UPShelp on Twitter (because no even though no one answers the phone after hours, they DO answer tweets), and thanks to those lovely humans, I was able to pick up my mystery package this morning…
When I picked it up, it was light and made a weird broken glass noise, so I opened it there in the parking lot to find signed photos of Cobra Starship, two “You Make Me Feel” stickers, and THE FUCKING SUNGLASSES FROM THE COVER OF NIGHTSHADES!!!
I kind of feel like the universe realized it’s been shitting on my life a little too much lately and is trying to make it up to me. Or maybe someone at FBR has my back. Either way, I wound up sobbing in the middle of the UPS parking lot.

Yay for FBR15 photos!
I still can’t believe that the first show I shot with a press pass was TAI, GCH, and Cobra - the three bands who got me going to shows in the first place. So full circle it’s not even funny.
It was honestly such an amazing show. I needed it and the rest of that weekend in NYC with one of my best friends more than you could imagine.

If I take this crazy cat lady bag as my carry-on to New York, do I get crazy cat lady street cred? (Crazy cat lady street cred is a thing, right?)
The crazy cat lady tissues are definitely coming with. (If you happen to see me and I look like I need a hug, I probably do - my stepsister passed away yesterday and I’m trying to figure out how to deal with it.)
